Terms and Conditions

This document ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User" or "you") and Guide Group Limited ("Guidebook," "we," "us," or "our"), governing the use of the Guidebook mobile application ("App"). By using our App, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please carefully read this Agreement before accessing or using the App.

1. Age Requirements

Users must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 13 years of age, you are prohibited from using the App.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the following terms shall have the following meanings:

• "Account" means your user account with Guidebook.
• "Content" means all text, images, videos, and other materials that are available on the App, including User Content.
• "User Content" means any Content that you submit to the App, including but not limited to your profile, photos, and recommendations.

3. License to Use

Guidebook grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, with the exception of permitted commercial purposes as detailed in Section 5 below.

4. User Registration

Users are required to register upon their initial use of the App and subsequently sign in upon returning visits.

5. Prohibited Behaviours

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. You agree not to:

• Create multiple Accounts without the written consent of Guidebook.
• Use the app to infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
• Transmit or distribute any material that is defamatory, obscene, threatening, or otherwise harmful or unlawful.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Engage in any fraudulent or deceptive activity.
• Use the App for commercial purposes, with the exception of its use to promote knowledge of and connection to your brand, without the prior written consent of Guidebook.
• Sell, transfer, or sublicense your Account.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App.

6. Termination and Account Suspension

Guidebook reserves the right to terminate your Account or suspend your access to the App at any time, for any reason, and without notice.

7. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, users can reach out to Guidebook via email at JoinUs@GuidebookTravel.com for resolution.

8. Data Deletion

Upon a user deleting their account, Guidebook will promptly delete the associated user data from its systems.

9. User Information Collection

As part of providing our services, Guidebook may collect and process various types of information:

• Location Information: Your geographical location data to provide location-based services.
• Saved and Recommended Places: Locations privately saved or recommended by you within the app.
• Viewed Places: Information regarding locations you have viewed.
• Navigation Information: Data related to your route and navigation within the App.
• Profile Information: Details related to your user profile.
• Uploaded Photos: Images or media files shared by you within the App.
• Shared Information: Any other information shared by you through the App.

10. Ownership of Content

All content within the App, including text, images, graphics, user-generated content, and information, is owned by Guide Group Limited, subject to relevant copyright and intellectual property laws. You agree not to copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Content on the App without the prior written consent of Guidebook.

11. Compliance with Laws

By using the App, you agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including data protection and privacy laws.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Guidebook makes no warranties, express or implied, as to the operation of the App or the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any Content on the App.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Guidebook shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, even if Guidebook has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

14. Applicability of English Law

This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

By using the App, you agree to adhere to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of this Agreement, you must refrain from using the App.
